Hello, my name is Marc Urselli and I am a 3-time Grammy Award winning engineer, mixer, producer, sound designer based in New York.
This year I attended SXSW again and I am always overwhelmed by the amount of bands that there are. Every year I try to see as many bands as I can and this year I managed to see about 6 per day on average.
I am trying to make the best out of SXSW by contacting all of the other bands I didn't get to see play live, which is why you are getting this email.
I apologize if this is impersonal but if you choose to write me back I promise you my reply will be personal and specific to your music. I don't like writing bulk emails either but there are sooooo many cool bands at SXSW and I regret not being able to see them all and interact with all of them. This is my attempt at doing so because SXSW is a networking opportunity after all and I am trying to network and make the best of it.
I would love for you to check out my discography and see if you find any artists whose music or sound you dig. If you think you might be interested in discussing the possibility of mixing your upcoming single or EP or album I would love to talk to you about it.
